Hey guys, I almost neglected this blog. But luckily I remembered it just now, so you all get to hear what's been going on during the last week or so.
Well way back on Friday (the 19th) my father moved up to Sydney to take up a new job (my mother plans to follow at the end of this year). Making me the man of the house and our System Admin. Lets see how it goes and hope for the best, eh?
On a totally different note, on Tuesday (the 23rd) I went to enroll in my Uni course. Which was quite an interesting experience, not only did I get my student card, student email and an introduction to what I can expect for the rest of this year; but I also got to meet a few of the awesome people who will be doing the course along side me. Let me assure you that awesome is most definitely the word for these people, they were all friendly, interesting, and all seemed to be happy. I can't wait to get to know them all better.

First Round Offers
Well today year 12 students across Victoria got the opportunity to find out what Uni's had accepted them into their courses. I took this opportunity and was stoked to discover that I got my first preference Architectural studies at The University of Melbourne.
Now I would like to tell a little story about this discovery as I think its a nice one. I personally was willing to wait for my letter but my dad being curious decided to drive me to the local newsagents to buy the paper with the offers in it, we found my name and found the course code next to it 38121 and I begin searching for what that code means, halfway through this quest my dad says "38, that's Melbourne."
To which I reply "No way! You've got to be joking" as I wasn't expecting my first preference, instead I was expecting Deakin as it was my 2nd and 3rd.
"No joke" and it turns out to be right, I just let out the biggest cheer of joy and began running up and down Werribee in shear exhilaration.
So yes that's my anecdote.
