Well I just saw Opera Australia's current run of The Pirates of Penzance. 'Twas a fun night out indeed (well any occasion where I can where my Tricorn's bound to be fun). And despite appearances they didn't try to make Pirates of the Caribbean: The Stage Show, instead they just cast Jack Sparrow as the Pirate King; and he fit perfectly. Following Jon English as the Pirate King is indeed a hard task but Anthony Warlow pulled it off. Unfortunately we didn't get an encore as Fredric wanted to go watch the Footy.
For all fans of theatre or pirates I'd recommend you go see the show, it's a fun night out.
